1.2 Cookies and Tracking Technologies
What are cookies? Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your actions and preferences (such as login, shopping cart contents, and language preference) over a period of time, and allow us to understand how the Site is used. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, web beacons, local storage, and software development kits ("SDKs"), all of which we refer to collectively as "cookies" in this Privacy Policy.
Types of cookies we use:
- Strictly Necessary Cookies — required for the Site to function (such as shopping cart, checkout, and login). These cannot be disabled in our systems.
- Performance / Analytics Cookies — help us understand how visitors interact with the Site (such as Google Analytics) so we can improve performance and user experience.
- Functional Cookies — remember your preferences and personalize your experience.
- Marketing / Advertising Cookies — used by us and third parties (such as Meta Pixel, Google Ads, and TikTok Pixel) to deliver relevant ads, measure campaign performance, and conduct retargeting across websites.
Third-party cookies. Some cookies are placed on the Site by third parties such as Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, and our ecommerce platform provider. Their use of cookies is governed by their own privacy and cookie policies, not this one.
How to manage cookies. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Site. You can also opt out of certain advertising cookies through:
- Network Advertising Initiative: https://optout.networkadvertising.org
- Digital Advertising Alliance: https://optout.aboutads.info
Global Privacy Control (GPC). We honor the Global Privacy Control signal as a valid opt-out request from California residents and others where required by law. When we detect a GPC signal from your browser, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

1.4 How We Share Your Information
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, we may share information with:
- Service providers who help us operate the business (payment processors, shipping carriers, email/SMS platforms, hosting providers, customer support tools)
- Marketing and advertising partners (such as Meta, Google, and TikTok) for advertising and analytics — this may qualify as a "sale" or "sharing" under California law; see Section 1.8
- Professional advisors (lawyers, accountants, auditors)
- Authorities when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect our rights
- Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets
1.5 Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, fraud prevention), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Order records are typically retained for at least seven (7) years for tax purposes.
1.6 Data Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit and PCI-DSS-compliant payment processing. No system is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
1.7 Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us at support@celluvance.com and we will delete it.
